Yes Yes you guessed it. Esmé is still a ball of joy and full of light! She is making here self busy and proactive in the big apple but of course she is missing 09'. Who isn't? Here is a little bit about Esmé that some my not know.

After working wit Peter Ottman and Rex Harrington from National Ballet of Canada on Four Seasons I heard Peter say this and to me so many things clicked (like how Char realized the wonders of her left eye). Peter said "Don't perfect it.... allow it"! Deep right. As an artist, and humans, we strive for perfection. It is in our nature. But don't you feel sometimes the act of perfection gets in your way? Sometimes you miss out on so many things because you are trying to perfect something. Or in trying to perfect something... it slows you down. When I heard this I was blown away. So with that in mind.... "Don't perfect it... Allow it"

Hoe of the week- Jamal

Ha no surprise there. I am the dancer of the week. I know so not fair. well I started it so I get to go first. Hehe.

Jamal has been busy doing jete and grand jete for 6 hrs a day in James Kudelka's Four Seasons. Atlanta Ballet (His current home) is the first company outside the National Ballet of Canada to perform this ballet. He has been trying to get the leg up! and wack his legs open so much that he hurt his lower back...ouch... but have no fear, he recalled Jane's lovely voice and somehow rolled on the floor as if he was in studio 322 at 9:15am on a tuesday morning hearing Irene Dowd's voice going over the trunk sequence. hmm impressive I know. In late 2009 he found him self out of Atlanta and in some mixed Asian experience. lol. no he was performing the chinese variation in John McFall's nutcracker. Even though he had his first holiday alone with no family, he was extremely happy to have his partner from NY come and visit him. yes long distance... Now he has found a new love. well more an addiction. the sound of wine pouring in to a cup. and 2hr of family guy nightly. along with watching the wendy show... how you doing...
